Why It Matters - The DCF
All gifts to the DCF support financial aid, which nearly 50% of Dartmouth students rely on each year. These donations support students today. The DCF remains the College’s largest source of financial aid funding, helping Dartmouth meet 100% of demonstrated need for students throughout all four years. Increased donor participation directly expands access to a Dartmouth education and ensures that talented students from all backgrounds can thrive at Dartmouth.
Why It Matters - Endowment
Financial aid packages for Dartmouth students are supported through multiple sources, including gifts from the Class of 1971 endowed scholarship fund. This endowed fund helps ensure that Dartmouth students will continue to receive critical financial aid support for generations to come — a lasting legacy of our class.
Over the years, the Class of 1971 has raised more than $1.2 million for student scholarships, opening doors for talented students and strengthening the Dartmouth community.
